TIMESTAMP OUTLINE

00:00 - 00:14 (INTRO) - We see close up shots of Dusty and his Good Cop partner strap on their vests, load their guns, and get ready.

00:14 - 00:29 - At the drop, we see Dusty and his Good Cop partner driving in their unmarked car. We see the road whipping past, their wheels are spinning. We can cut this with other slo-mo and posed footage to keep up the pace. We feel like they are unleashed on the city.

00:29 - 00:59 (FIRST VERSE) - For the first verse, we see Dusty and his partner driving through the city. They stop to arrest a normal looking guy. Dusty pulls out one of his own joints and signals to his partner that it’s the perp. They slap cuffs on him.

00:59 - 01:21 (FIRST CHORUS) - At the chorus drop, Dusty lights up the joint, and the two continue driving through the city, cut with footage of the band performing. During this chorus, we can have our fun scenes of the two cops playing out scenes from our “Scene Ideas” ie- Interacting with citizens, Shaking hands with people on Broadway, Drinking behind the wheel, Slo-mo eating doughnuts, etc.

01:21 - 01:50 (SECOND VERSE) - Good Cop drives and Dusty flips through his phone. We can film some fake Reels, like a home cooking Reel, Influencer type content, etc. but each reel has a weird message with text like: “Everyone Is Your Enemy”, “Guilty Until Proven Innocent,” “Your Phone Is Your Friend”. Dusty is sucked into the messaging and gets fired up. The Good Cop looks worried as the two hit the streets again.

01:50 - 2:00 (SECOND CHORUS) - Right at the drop, Dusty runs and tackles a couple walking their dog. Dusty barks in the Dog’s face. Dusty pees on their dog. The more intense Dusty gets, the more the Good Cop has to grab Dusty and pull him away from the couple.

02:00 - 2:14 (SECOND CHORUS SLOW DOWN) - Dusty and the Good Cop arrive at a house for a drug raid. They kick the door down make arrests. Seeing a massive spliff smoldering in an ashtray in front of the TV in the living room, Dusty takes a huge hit as the song slowwssss down. Intercut with B-Roll and performance shots. Dusty can lean away from the mic in his performance like he’s passing out, to match with the Cop scene.

02:14 - 02:46 (BRIDGE) - Dusty almost disappears in a massive cloud of haze and smoke as we enter slo-mo. Dusty sits on the couch and performs with his giant spliff. As Dusty sits on the couch, Dusty watches someone walk into the room and sit down on his knees in front of the TV. It’s Dusty in normal clothes. Dusty lands in front of the TV, grabbing it like a helpless servant as the static fills his brain. Intercut with Dusty sitting on the couch, we see he’s not in his cop uniform anymore. “I don’t wanna live a lie.”

02:46 - 02:53 (PRE-CHORUS) - As the Pre-Chorus hits, we see Dusty’s Good Cop partner enter the room with two other officers. We realize that Dusty, addled by drugs and the TV hallucinated being a cop entirely. He’s actually just a criminal, and the cops are here to take him away. The Good Cop slaps cuffs on Dusty.

02:53 - 03:08 (FINAL CHORUS) - As the cops lead Dusty out the door, Dusty breaks into a run, still handcuffed. The cops run after him and fire their guns. Dusty gets away. A POV cam shows us Dusty’s view as he runs through backyards and alleys, intercut with performance shots and B-Roll.

03:08 - 03:29 (DRUM FILLS and END) - We see Dusty hiding as Cops run back and forth. Eventually Dusty is caught, and they throw him in the back of the car. The car door slams as Dusty yells from behind the window. The car pulls away and rides off as the video ends.
