DRIVING TO SEE AMY THE NUN
Two sisters share the gorgeous views, bizarre conversations, old haunts, and chill hangs of a day trip to visit their friend Amy the Nun. (7-10 mins)
Genre: Indie, Mumblecore (“Lost In Translation” by way of “Easy Rider”, but 0% drama. Just vibes.)
Beginning with one sister’s memories of the previous night playing a house show, she wakes up in the car, driven by the other sister. The road trip has begun! We’ll see them drive through the rolling hills, hang out in the car, stop at gas stations, share last week’s weird dreams, check out old bookstores, maybe even share a joint with some specially packed farm fresh snacks.
At its heart a daydream-y road movie, “AMY” shows us through a stunning and nostalgic lens, how luxuriously accessible it is to have a good time on the road, and in life.
